Twinsburg Appliance Repair
Twinsburg is about 24 miles from our Parma base, a 35-minute drive in decent traffic. You hear the full price before we start, and morning callers often get a visit that day.
One discount per visit. Mention it when you book.
Say Twinsburg to anyone around here and they'll bring up Twins Days. The festival goes back to 1976 and honors Moses and Aaron Wilcox, the twins the town took its name from. What people don't mention is how new most of the houses are. Twinsburg grew 77 percent in the nineties alone (that's straight from the census tables), and the median home was built in 1991.
So the typical kitchen here is on round two of its appliances, possibly round three. Meanwhile the house itself has hit the age where a few original pieces start wearing out, like the shutoff valves or the dryer duct. We look at those too before we quote you anything. It's a quick check, and it keeps us from blaming a new washer for what is really a worn-out valve on the wall behind it.
Houses from the nineties, appliances from last decade
Nothing exotic here. These are just the places where a thirty-year-old house and a ten-year-old machine tend to rub each other the wrong way.
Dishwasher drain loop
That drain hose is supposed to climb up under the counter before it dips down into the sink plumbing. A remodel later, it's often lying flat on the cabinet floor. Sink water then creeps back into the dishwasher, which looks exactly like a dead pump. It isn't one.
Laundry room off the garage
Plenty of houses from this era put the washer on the main floor by the garage door. A leak there soaks subfloor instead of a concrete basement, so we'd treat even a small drip as worth a call.
Fridge water line
The skinny plastic tube feeding the ice maker gets brittle with age. Over time the little saddle valve tapping into the pipe can start weeping too. Damp spot behind the fridge? Close that valve until somebody has a look.
Dryer duct through the wall
In a tight laundry room the foil duct usually gets squashed flat when the dryer is pushed back. Clothes need two runs, and eventually the safety fuse pops. Half the time straightening or replacing that duct is the whole fix.
We go deeper into drain trouble on the dishwasher repair page. Puddles get their own article, why a dishwasher leaks.
You hear the number before we pick up a tool
First the tech tests the appliance and figures out what's actually wrong. Then you get one figure, parts and labor together. The repair starts only if you're good with it. Want to sleep on it or get a second quote? No hard feelings.
Veterans and seniors each knock $30 off. If you're new to us it's $20 off instead, one discount per visit. Whatever we fix is covered for 90 days.
If your water comes from Cleveland
At least part of Twinsburg is on Cleveland Water. We know because the utility put some Twinsburg customers under a boil advisory in September 2026 after a main gave way. When the all-clear comes, dump the bin of ice and let the dispenser pour for a while. A new fridge filter wouldn't hurt.
Cleveland rates its water at roughly 7 grains of hardness per gallon, so moderate. If your bill comes from someone else, your supplier can tell you their figure.
Repair or replace a ten-year-old machine
Something bought in the last ten or fifteen years is usually still worth saving. Usually, not always. Parts for machines that age are easy to find, and a lot of the common ones are already on our van, which keeps the second visit (and the second bill) off the table more often than not.
A drain pump or a door lock. Maybe a fan motor, or an igniter on a gas range. Those are everyday parts at fair prices, and the machine still has years left in it.
A cracked tub is one case. An aging fridge losing its refrigerant is another. And if a control board by itself would run half the price of a new unit, we'll tell you straight that the money is better spent elsewhere.
One ZIP for Twinsburg, 44087
- 44087Twinsburg, OH
- 24 mifrom Parma 44129
Twinsburg sits roughly halfway between Cleveland and Akron, and every address in it is 44087. The township around the city shares that ZIP and we drive there as well. Macedonia is just to the west, and Hudson starts a few minutes south.
If you're calling during Twins Days weekend in August, expect us to route around the festival crowds near the park on Ravenna Road. We'll still get there, maybe by the back way.
How quickly can you reach Twinsburg?
Figure 35 minutes from Parma. A call over breakfast gives us the best odds of making it out the same afternoon.
Will I know the price before you start?
You will. The tech diagnoses it first and then quotes a single figure. No work begins until you say go.
My dishwasher has sink water in it. Is the pump broken?
Not necessarily. Look under the sink and see whether the drain hose loops up high before it connects. If it's lying flat, water can flow backward into the tub.
Is Twinsburg on Cleveland Water?
Part of it is, at least. Cleveland Water's September 2026 boil advisory included some Twinsburg customers. Your water bill will tell you for certain.
Do you repair appliances in Twinsburg Township?
Yes. The township shares 44087 with the city, and any address there works for us.
Which brands do you fix?
Nearly every household brand you'd find in a Twinsburg kitchen. High-end built-ins such as Sub-Zero too.
Does a 1990s house cause appliance problems?
Sometimes the house is part of it. Original shutoff valves and squashed dryer ducts are the usual suspects, so our technician checks them before ordering any part for the appliance.
